First of all: Happy first of July!
We just returned from another little camping trip in the mountains. As we are in the middle of a heatwave, we decided to return earlier to enjoy the last days of R's holiday with my sister and near our saltwater pool. Everything goes slowly in these temperatures and you have to adapt, no matter if you want or not.
Yesterday I was talking with several people about the unpleasant instagram changes and it seems it is not only me who is still loving the good old blog format the most. Marie, who's beautiful pictures I follow since longer now, felt motivated to start a new blog and I absolutely want to share it with you here:

I'm so happy! It is really such a cozy place already! And she also has a furry little chihuahua companion! Feel free to follow her, too! I hope more and more people will join the blog community again!

Du Liebe, vielen vielen Dank - habe mich gerade ganz dolle gefreut <33 Und was mich auch freut ist, dass wir uns hier gegenseitig gefunden haben. Mag deine Fotos, Filme und Texte so sehr.
Und wie schön, dass ihr auch ein paar tolle Campingtage verbracht habt - das klingt ganz wundervoll und ich kann die frische Bergluft förmlich riechen.
Bin heute auch wieder zurück gekommen und kümmere mich erstmal um den Garten - die Schnecken sind hier leider nicht so friedlich wie bei dir auf den Bildern...nimmt momentan ein bisschen überhand aber ich hoffe ich kriege es in den Griff.
Sonst ist hier bald alles abgeknabbert :D

Die Schnecken sind heuer wirklich wieder extrem, obwohl es bei uns seit längerem so heiß ist, aber die werden auch irgendwie widerstandsfähiger wie es scheint. Ich lasse immer Salat stehen, den ich nicht mehr esse, den ich praktisch den Schnecken lasse, damit sie die anderen Sachen nicht anfressen. Es wird trotzdem viel angeknabbert, aber irgendwas haben sie mir bisher immer übrig gelassen.

I'm so glad people are returning to blogging again. I also try to, but I lost the rythm, so my tumblr is still waiting to see what will happen. :)
It was really, really special period of my youth when I was writing a blog and taking photos, and watching other people blogs. Like a dream. I never intend to go back to Instagram, nor Facebook.
In my case, I faced the truth that I never was and never will be popular and trendy in real life, so why making some fake image online? :D

It makes me also so happy! I feel the very same, when I found the first creative blogs in 2005 a whole new world opened to me and I love to look back at those old times, it was really a special time and community. No other social media tool felt this way to me. But when everybody went over to Instagram I started to get an account too to be able to follow further the people I have met over blogging. But Instagram developed as horrible as fb sadly. I'm happy that I never completely deleted this place here and maybe more and more people really will start with a new blog in the future.
Ich liebe Schnecken, allgemein Insekten so sehr. Sie kriegen viel zu wenig Beachtung. Ich habe ja alle meine Erdbeeren dieses Jahr verloren, die Mäuslein und Vögel waren einfach schneller :D Auf den analogen Fotos kommt die beschaffenheit ihrer Haut und das grün der Blätter so schön zur Geltung. Ich liebe deine Naturfotografie. Dein Brieflein ist übrigens fertig und geht morgen raus. Hab noch einen schönen Sonntag!
