This place looked like it had no winter behind it, it seemed like an endless late summer with all the dry flowers and grasses and fruits on the trees, but it was so cold, even though the sun looked so invitingly warm.

That white swan looked so astray in the blackness of the river water. We found the most beautiful ice formations in a little tributary of that same river. Frozen lakes are so beautiful and became so rare. Nevertheless we are ready for spring now!
