Recently I started an illustration series with mushrooms and animals that I wanted to show you, but I am not sure if I will continue so soon as I am working on something different again right now.

Some of my latest illustrations – the last one I made for a honey label. It was really nice to drift away while drawing. Right now, I’m working on a floral winter pattern for the upcoming spoonflower challenge. Wishing you a lovely Friday!

Spoonflower made another animal portrait tea towel contest and I could not resist taking part again. Last year I made this fox and this time I decided to make a matching forest bear. I made place 17 of 611 submissions which was quite a surprise! The fabric is available now in my spoonflower shop! If you order one Fat Quarter of "Linen Cotton Canvas Ultra" fabric, you get exactly one tea towel out of it, if you order one yard, you can make 4 towels.

I made these illustration a while ago, when the longing for warmer days reached it's peak. This year, I want to try sowing new flower varieties in my garden. I've also started drying plants again for a new herbarium and played around with ink and pencil.
