My first black clay results! They turned out surprisingly satisfying. It’s easier to see in person than in the photos, but the lighter parts of the clay shimmer like gold in the light. The white glaze has a really nice effect on them! You can always click on the pictures to see them larger.

Oh these are so beautiful! I love how they turned out, there's so much variation in the colour and they must be so satisfying to hold in your hands and turn every which way to see the light fall on them from different angles. 😍

Thank you so much, Stéphanie! After the first firing they were much much lighter, a medium brown tone and you could not see at all the light fire clay particles. They came out so nicely after the second firing, I'm really looking forward to make more with this type of clay!
