Close-ups of the second elephant I knitted last month. Every time I finish a new knitting project, I immediately start wondering what it would look like in a different color and feel like trying out every possible combination. Do you feel the same?

Thank you so much! I'm very glad you like it!
I just realized that if I signed in via my business, I could write comments. Who knew - haha. I so enjoy watching your YouTube videos and reading your blog! I even found your sister’s channel through you too. You both feel like kindred spirits 🩵
I do have to be somewhat careful watching your channels though bc of the creative “danger” you pose ;) I’m trying to limit my outlets (due to lack of time to do all 100 I want to do 😊) so I can do a few well - but you sure do make it hard with your knitting and ceramics! My early formative years were spent playing with clay at my mother’s knee and got into knitting a few years ago and LOVED it. Unfortunately after I started the Celtic harp both of those together gave me tennis elbow so I sadly gave up knitting for the harp, which did make the tendinitis go away. But darn it all, it’s your simple scarves in hand spun wool (which my mother also taught me when I was young - we had our own sheep and I even had my own wheel) and charming elephants like this that cause me to waver in my non-knitting resolve….but I have enough outlets…I really do….so I’m keeping that mantra on repeat in my head whilst I read your beautiful blog 😉🩵
Oh, so nice to see you here on my blog! I know exactly what you mean, I often feel the very same, thousands of ideas and I would love to do everything at once! Wow, how impressive that you play Celtic harp! I love the sound! So nice to hear that you also had your own sheep when you were a child and that you have so many lovely memories of that time. The sound of the spinning wheel will also remind me forever of my mum! Maybe you can start knitting again some time. I feel that my creative pursuits always come and go in phases. Every autumn, my desire for wool and knitting returns. Then comes another phase where I paint exclusively. But I've also parted ways with many colors again because limiting my options calms my mind! I wish you a wonderful Sunday and thank you once again for taking your time to leave some words! <3
