*Giant poppy

Behind my greenhouse, I have had a large oriental poppy plant for a few years now – one I never planted or sowed myself. The seeds must have come with the wind, birds, or some other way, but it made me really happy, because I love all kinds of poppies. Those giant flowers shine in the most vibrant red tones – they are irresistible and definitely deserved a little photoshoot.

Sunny came along, of course. He loves to smell the flowers, and sometimes when I take him into the garden, I let him sniff each flower individually. It seems to relax him a lot, and it’s so cute to watch!
