Early summer was full of the most beautiful flowers. My aquilegia collection is growing every year. This year, I received a yellow variety from my mother and am growing a purple one from seeds that my dear Lotte sent me in a letter. It hasn't been easy to keep them alive – first there was a long, cold period, and then suddenly a heat wave arrived that continued to this day. The meadows already look like August under the strong sun. I hope you are enjoying your summer so far! We went to the ocean, and I am now filled with the fresh sea air and wonderful, uplifting feelings.
