*a cozy place

I love all seasons in the forest.
They are all so different and unique.

This was the most coziest place!
A bed of moss surrounded by firs.
A soft light came through the branches.
The moss was so thick,
that when I stepped on it, my feet completely sank in.
No sound was hearable other than forest birds
and the cracking of moving trees.

A good year for all sorts of rosaceae.
The different pink shades in the warm evening sun – a delight for the eyes!

*spring forest green

The forests are looking so fresh at this time of the year. I was lucky enough to catch this orange-tip on camera. In German it is called Aurorafalter (Aurora butterfly).

*daisies and sunshine

Finally summer has arrived! We are having 31 degrees right now and I am not the only one who is enjoying it. Sunny is a true sun worshipper and is far more relaxed since the extra dosage of sunshine and warmth. And we were able to pick first ripe may- and strawberries. A wild camomile plant sprouted in the greenhouse which is in full bloom now and behind the greenhouse blooms a huge red poppy that I also never sowed. Such surprises make me so happy!

and a little lonely,
and they hide themselves in their hair
and are turned into flowers."

*fairytale forests and curious fallow deer

When I found that little abandoned house in the woods I immediately fantasized about restoring it and how it must be to live there, to hear the forest sounds all night long. Such a dreamy place!

*writing

I finally found peace in writing letters again. And I'm using a thin brush and ink for writing now. I was never happy with my handwriting and often felt tense when writing, but with a brush it feels much better and more natural to me. Strange that I've never thought of writing this way in the past, it seemed not practical to me, but it is actually the softest way and easier to take up ink than with a calligraphy pen, at least for me.
