In the meantime, liverworts have replaced the snowdrops in the forests, I have piked my seedlings and finished preparing the garden beds, ready to sow once temperatures are more stable. I thought we were done with winter, but they say it might snow on the weekend – let's see how that goes.
We also pruned our cherry laurel hedge, which had become quite a task after it has grown so well – it took us 3 days. What a good feeling once it was done! Right now, the cherry trees are beginning to bloom, and the plum trees are slowly opening their buds.
Finally, life energy is returning more and more to my body after the long winter months. The sun is working its miracles. Good times are ahead – enjoy the spring!
