*Aloe vera

Last year Lotte sent me an offshoot from her aloe vera plant. I must admit it did not grow so fast, but recently it surprised me with it's first baby offshoot!

*allium + garden update

Usually at this time of the year I feel the urge to cut my hair, same happened this year in spring, but for some reason I did not do it and so they kept growing. It's actually amazing how much hair grows in only one year. Maybe this summer I manage to let it grow further, but I am a very mercurial person, so let's just see... 

The last two days were quite hot and I was able to do a lot in the garden, but today it is cooler again and we have lots of rain. The climate is so different this year! Nevertheless I've already been able to harvest the first radishes and lettuces, and I'm sure the first strawberries will be ready very soon, too.

Pictures from two weeks ago, when we were camping on the piece of land where my father has his permaculture farm. All the fruit trees were in full bloom, as you can see, and the light was magical!

I simply love circles and round objects – they give me such a safe and pleasant feeling to look at, just like my crochet rugs. Sometimes I make circles out of natural objects, like this one in the forest. It's been rainy and quite chilly here. Last year at the same time we were already swimming! But after those dry years, nature is surely breathing a sigh of relief!
