*Aloe vera

Last year Lotte sent me an offshoot from her aloe vera plant. I must admit it did not grow so fast, but recently it surprised me with it's first baby offshoot!

*allium + garden update

Last year when the alliums where blooming I made a picture of myself. Normally at this time of the year I feel the urge to cut my hair, same as this year in spring, but for some reason I did not do it and so they keep growing. It's actually amazing how much hair grows in a year. Maybe this summer I manage to not cut it, but I am a very mercurial person, so let's just see...
The last two days were pretty hot suddenly and I was able to do a lot in the garden, but today it is cool again and lot's of rain. It is such a different climate this year! But nevertheless I was able to harvest first radishes, salads and I am sure very soon also the first strawberries. Yay!

Happy weekend to you all!

*spring light

Pictures from 2 weeks ago when we were camping at the piece of land where my father has his permaculture farm. All the fruit trees were in full bloom as you can see. The light was magical!

*in the forest

I know, I'm repeating myself, but I simply love circles and round objects, it gives me such a safe and pleasurable feeling to look at them, like with my crochet rugs. So I sometimes build circles with objects from nature like this one in the forest. Rainy days here and quite chilly. Last year at the same time we were already swimming! But after those dry years, nature is surely breathing a sigh of relief!
Wishing you all a cosy weekend!

*gardening

Because of the freezing cold April that we had, gardening was a bit delayed and the plants I grew from seeds were growing rather slowly. Every year is different and new things to experience. You can only adapt to everything and go with the flow of nature. We can never be separated from her. So I moved my plants only some days ago into the greenhouse and yesterday weather was finally really good, so I took my chance and worked a lot in the garden. By now first peas and salads are popping out of the ground and the strawberry plants are looking better then ever. More pictures to follow soon...
Have a hopefully sunny Sunday!

*in the mountains

The promised pictures from our mini vacation in the Styrian mountains. I just love the flair of analogue photos.
