Since my very early childhood

I love the place called home. 

I love to travel and making tiny adventures,

but whenever I return to my place,

it feels so good.

One of my favorite things

when I was a child

was making a home within our home.

Was it in form of a cardboard house with my brother

or a house built of chairs, blankets and other things,

or I simply moved into the wardrobe :)

First package is from dear Sara who spoiled me again with vintage treasures. I'm in love with the fabric poster with the tree & forest animals, isn't it lovely? Thank you, you will soon receive something from me again!

Lily is travelling right now, she was so kind to send me a card from Vilnius. What a pretty one!

And last but not least, more snail mail from Barbara. She sent me next to a card some seeds. I'm all excited! And she made me a tiny notebook with pink pages, just perfect! I'm looking forward to use it :)

I was able to pick the fist strawberry

from the plant on the outside windowsill.

This is what happens when different plants

are standing next to each other on a window sill.

I was really surprised about the purple shamrock

sprouting in the pot of my tangerine plant.

And the nasturtium seed must have been somewhere in the soil I use.

Inspired of the last visit in the park

I carved some bird stamps

and decided to make some green stationery.

If I have time again I definitely want to make more :)

Weather was rainy, but not that cold, so my friend and I decided to go to the park. It did not take long and some hungry little birds appeared. Their babies where waiting to be fed in the trees, we could hear them screech. Unfortunately we had nothing to eat for the squirrels with us, but they were very gamely.

Do you know the insect on the last picture?

It always reminds me on a hummingbird.

It is called bee fly.

In any case one of my favorite insects next to bumble-bees.

Last weekend I got some plants from my parents for my outside windowsill. It's so nice to finally be able to have some plants outside as well. Unfortunately the weather is so crazy that some of them already got killed by rain & wind. I guess this is life. I have to find out which plants are most suitable. Yesterday it was so cold that we had to turn the heating on, last Friday we had 32 degrees!
