*spring forest green

The forests look so fresh at this time of the year. I was lucky enough to catch this orange-tip on camera. In German, it's called Aurorafalter (Aurora butterfly).

*daisies and sunshine

Finally, summer has arrived! It’s 31°C right now, and I’m not the only one enjoying it. Sunny is a true sun worshipper and has become much more relaxed with this extra dose of sunshine and warmth. We were also able to pick the first ripe may- and strawberries. A wild chamomile plant sprouted in the greenhouse and is now in full bloom, and behind the greenhouse, a huge red poppy is blooming that I never even sowed. Such surprises make me so happy!

and a little lonely,
and they hide themselves in their hair
and are turned into flowers."

*fairytale forests and curious fallow deer

When I found that little abandoned house in the woods, I immediately fantasized about restoring it and what it would be like to live there, listening to the forest sounds all night long. Such a dreamy place!

*writing

I’ve finally found peace in writing letters again, and now I’m using a thin brush and ink. I was never happy with my handwriting and often felt tense while writing, but using a brush feels much better and more natural to me. It’s strange that I never thought of writing this way before — it didn’t seem practical to me — but it’s actually the gentlest method and easier to apply ink than with a calligraphy pen, at least for me.

*birthday tooth

Pictures from my birthday.
I found a part of an animal skull and took one of it's tooth with me. It's quite big and I tried to find out from which animal it is, but don't know it yet. Meanwhile early flowering trees started to bloom and I saw a second hoopoe when I made a little bike trip! They look so tropical and surreal in our landscape.
