*A flowery doily

{Music: I Got You, Honey – Ocie Elliott}

And for those who enjoy moving pictures,
a little movie of the making of the doily
and some flowers from the garden.

*crochet doily

It has been a long time since I last made a doily. The pattern is from a 27 years old magazine, so I think it's ok to share it here, if you want to make one for yourself or as a gift. Mine is already on the way to Poland, to a dear friend. The cosmea flowers are still blooming beautifully. These are the sorts I have in the garden at the moment. Have a lovely day + until soon again!

*Golden dust & heather

One of the most beautiful seasons has just started and
I am so grateful to be able to make steps out into nature again
and share some of those moments with you!

*grey days

We are having grey days and the air is getting colder which I actually enjoy a lot, as the air seems cleaner than in summer. I have finished the crochet bag that I have been working on for a week now and made some pictures of it in the garden. In the moment I wanted to start taking pictures, a grasshopper sat down on the bag and accompanied me. I will share my needlework projects here soon, so stay tuned and have a cozy day!

*feather ghost

I found this beautiful dead flower chafer in the forest. It's color is really mesmerizing! And I was lucky enough to get a close-up image of one of my favorite insects: the white plume moth, in German it's called "Federgeistchen" which means "little feather ghost" if you translate it directly. It really describes perfectly how it looks :) It's such an etherial creature!

*garden & greenhouse

Because I was not able to do anything in the garden for so long, everything grew wildly and the greenhouse turned into a real jungle as you can see!  I had cucumber salad nearly every day, but now the plants have started to wither and sooner or later I have to clear them out and prepare everything for winter. This year I had over 7 wasps' nests inside the greenhouse. We are getting well with one another luckily. They do not behave aggressive against me so far. On the weekend we had quite gloomy weather, I started a new kombucha and made cookies with fresh apples from the garden. Have a good start into the new week!

*hiding in the clover field

Things that made me happy lately:

• harvesting the first potatoes together with R.
• observing a hummingbird hawk moth
• fresh mushrooms from the forest for lunch
• starting to crochet a little again
• mist above the lake
• a heather plant for my window sill
• flying in my dreams

What's on your "happy list"?

*from inside

Only the broken know
what it's like to live inside
of their imagination.
Creating worlds to dream in,
we are artists of the mind.
Our true gift is survival.
