*frosty tones | part 2

It just started to snow in this very moment. Huge snowflakes hovering slowly to the ground. I made gingerbread which left the sweetest smell in the home and today I want to make one of my favorite sort of chocolate cookies. Have you started baking Christmas cookies yet? Which are your favorites?

The images are lovely! Yes, I've started baking some cookies. Tonight I came up with an experiment - marzipan cookies - I made it with almond flour and it tastes more like a bread since I sweetened with just a little honey. Soon I want to try a very rich French butter cookie, but have had to watch my flour and sugar intake this week. The switch to nut flours helps. :)
Happy baking, Claudia!

I will also make some marzipan cookies! I love the taste of almonds! And some vanilla cookies with a little white chocolate and strawberry filling! :) But yes, I also use much less sugar or alternatives, except for the meringues, they need lots of sugar, but I don't make them all for us, I give them also away, but the baking is so nice at this time of the year! Normally I am hardly ever in the mood but right on time around Christmas I feel like baking, especially when we have snow! Makes it extra cozy! :)
