tree eating moon

The "tree eating moon" is an illustration I made in November. I did not show it, because I knew that I would carve it someday. All the woodcuts I made so far have been kind of preparatory work for this one. It is the biggest so far and I enjoyed creating it very much :) Hope you like it!
Wish you a comfy weekend!

Tolle Illustration!

@dd yuono: Thank you! Another woodcut is planned to be printed soon ;)

Toll!

You are working through quite some complicated design and technique.... the layers are wonderful! This large scale piece is wonderful! Claudia, have you thought of a story for this. 'The Hungry Moon',,, it's almost a little scary children's story. :) I love it and I'm hungry for more!! :)

I like it very much Claudia!
what a beautiful and so creative piece of work :-) and I know how hard this is, all the time that we need to do a piece like this.

@Sandra: Of course I thought about a story, but the main character in the picture is actually the owl, haha - you will see in the next woodcut :) I often thought about children books, but I don't like so much writing stories. When I was younger I loved to write, but not anymore. I think too much about every single word, that is not good. With pictures I find it easier for myself.

@Diogo Silva: Thank you! Yes, it's good to know that there are people out there who also see that it is not that easy and fast done as it sometimes seems when we see a finished picture.

@cococita: Thank you :)
