I can't put in words how much I enjoy nature these days. On yesterday's walk I could wear my yellow dress again. I sewed it myself two years ago without any pattern. I know, all my hand-sewed dresses look like pregnancy clothes, but I really like it that way :) I need to feel comfortable in my clothes so much. I also got some tan this weekend and surely a good amount of vitamin D :)

First boat trip of the year

Pictures from our boat trip yesterday. Sunny is always the first one who wants to be in the boat. He always jumped inside when we still had to prepare things. I'm happy that he likes water, I know that some dogs are afraid or just don't like it. On the way back home we saw these highland cattle.

Winter is over!

The intense green of nature at the moment is overwhelming. Only now I realize fully that our long winter lies behind us. Yesterday we took our boat and drove to the lake the first time this year. Weather reports were right, sun was shining the whole day and we had temperatures like normally in summer. Only the water showed us that we still have April :) More pictures will follow soon.

Yellow doily rug

Another doily rug that I haven't showed you yet. ||| The woolen blanket was a birthday gift from my mum and I love it. It's from human empire shop and 100% pure new wool, same as the doily rugs I make. ||| Remember the plant cuttings I got from Lotte last July? This is how one of the plants look now. ||| Tomorrow we will get over 30º, crazy weather! Wish you all a good start into the weekend!

Walk

Yesterday I made a walk alone, it was so nice. When I saw this tree in full bloom it appeared nearly extraterrestrial to me. It was shining so strong! And then I imagined how it would be to live in the house on the last picture. It is really high and reminds me of Rapunzel's tower :)

Crochet bag

I made this crochet bag and it was so hard to get a decent picture, because of its neon pink color. I tried on 2 days. In reality it is not that eye damaging :) The pattern is from Chocolate Mints In a Jar's lovely Etsy shop. I had to change the pattern though, because my wool was running out and I did not get another one in this color. Also I used very thick wool instead of the one recommended, so that it get's bigger. I think it will be a quite nice summer bag, what do you think? At least Sunny liked it from the beginning :D

Thanks for your kind words about my little blue pot. Some years ago I painted a whole series of these cloud pots, I gifted them all away, only one remained, the one in my last post. In the past I had this phase where I bought a lot of finish (actually made for painting wooden toys for children) and I painted everything around me, my bed, furniture, everything.... ||| I have a new avocado pit that got roots so much faster than the first one. I thought this might not work at all, because it was such a small pit, but it started to grow roots only after a few days! The other one needed months. How different such things can be. Nature. ||| Remember the cactus layers I got from Lily last month? I thought it's time for putting them in soil. Hope it was not to early. We will see...

This pretty package comes from Mary. I've never got mail from the Ukraine before, so I appreciate it a lot! She was so kind to make me this pretty pink doily and next to other sweet things she sent me a hand-painted postcard which represents her style a lot. Very unique! Thank you, Mary, I will send you something back soon :)

Another lovely letter from Lisa. This time she sent me neon handmade envelopes, a picture of one of her plants and this pretty orange flower fabric. I think I'm gonna use it for a pillow case for the living room :) I always love getting mail from you, Lisa! Thank you so much!

Walk in the rain

Weather is rainy and cold. Only 6 degree, but we decided to make a walk anyway. The rain made the green looking greener and also the other colors where shining and we've seen lot's of fire salamanders. Obviously they like this kind of weather. I have never seen so many in one place before. The red bag is new, I could not resist buying it. Have a cosy Sunday!
