Plants

Before camping I planted one of the Cardiospermum seeds that Coco sent me and when I came back again I nearly couldn't believe my eyes, the plant was already 10 cm (4inch) tall and also my Nasturtium got many small new leaves. It seems my plants do better when I am not around, haha! With the salad I have no luck, tried it twice. In the beginning all seems fine and after a while they just stop growing somehow. I don't know what I am doing wrong. I also had no luck with the turkish poppy. In the evening I made another felt doily, this time in green with another pattern. I am also thinking of making doily rugs....

oh, I like the pot in the second picture. It is one of your mother´s? I haven´t planted my cardiospermum yet...

My cardiosparmum didn't grow. So I gave it a little help (my taking them out again and weaken them in water, they soon started to grow!). I really hope they'll grow more now.

Ehm. And my nasturtium... I've had a few flowers, and lots of buds. And now I just don't dare to eat them! How silly!

So lovely for you! It's amazing your plants have been growing like that. I think it's such a great idea you'll make doily-rugs. I'm looking forward to your new plans.

@Alicia: This is actually one my father made and my mother put the colour on it. I was really happy to see that the Cardiospermum has grown. I hope it will grow further!

@Celestine: Oh, I hope your Cardiospermum grows better now! I think I will also wait some time till I eat some leaves :)

@Eva: I hope the plants keep growing like this! I think I just have to focus on the plants that do fine at my place and don't be too disappointed about the others.

hmm, your cardiospurmum is growing! I am so glad to see it, couldn't believe it at first. your's are growing so fast.
It might do better if you leave it when the sun comes in.

Hej! Meine Cardiospermium ist auch schon "geschlüpft" und jetzt wächst sie in einem Tempo, dass man dabei zusehen kann! Liebe Grüße!

The first photo of the sunshine streaming in is just beautiful. And I just planted some Nasturtium seeds myself--it's such a lovely, old-fashioned flower, don't you think?

@Maggie: yes, you are right! I wanted one 'cause it reminds me on my grandmother who's garden was full of these plans. It is a very good memory for me.

hello, claudia,
i would like to see recent photo of your cardiospermum, so I can (maybe) tell you how to do.
It usually need sun. so, if you can put it on the window side where the sun comes in, that might help.

it is a very strong plant, and mine seeded like stopped growing for a while but after while, it grows back again. so, don't worry too much, might be just resting.
